Microsoft Security Bulletin for April 2010
Microsoft released 11 security bulletins that cover 25 vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows, Office, and Exchange. The 5 critical security bulletins all are for Microsoft Windows.
Microsoft is closing the following open Security Advisories with these updates:
- Microsoft Security Advisory (981169) - Vulnerability in VBScript Could Allow Remote Code Execution.
- Microsoft Security Advisory (977544) - Vulnerability in SMB Could Allow Denial of Service
The security updates for these vulnerabilities are available for download at the Microsoft Update web site (http://www.update.microsoft.com). Please note that systems joined to the LSU Active Directory automatically receive the critical security updates when available. Other updates will have to be installed from Microsoft Update.
Remember to close all applications at the end of work day today, as security updates may require a restart of your machine.
