Phishing Attempt "Your mailbox is almost full."

University IT security professionals have received alerts concerning two phishing attempts with a subject line "Your mailbox is almost full".  One message states that your mailbox has exceeded the set quota.  It asks you to click on a link to validate your email account. The other message states that "computer database maintenance" is going on, and it asks you to revalidate your mailbox. Both messages are a fraudulent phishing attemtps.  Please delete the messages.

PHISHING Message: A Computer Database Maintainance is currently going on our Webmail Message Center. Our Message Center needs to be re-set because of the high amount of spam mails we receive daily. A Quarantine Maintainance will help us prevent this everyday dilemma.
