Microsoft Security Bulletin Summary for August 2011
Microsoft released 13 security bulletins (two Critical in severity, nine Important, and two Moderate) addressing 22 vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, .NET, and Visual Studio. These security updates are available for download at the Microsoft Update web site (http://www.update.microsoft.com). Please note that systems joined to the LSU Active Directory automatically receive the security updates when available.
Remember to close all applications at the end of work day today, as security updates may require a restart of your machine.
